Subscription terms

Your subscription starts on the date your access is activated. The first invoice is issued at the start of the month following activation and covers a full calendar month. Subsequent invoices are issued monthly in advance on the first business day of each month.

Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date. Invoices are sent by email to the billing address provided at sign-up.

Prices are quoted exclusive of VAT. Danish VAT (25%) applies to customers in Denmark. EU customers outside Denmark may be subject to reverse charge VAT in accordance with applicable EU VAT rules.

Cancellation policy

You can cancel your subscription at any time. There is no minimum subscription period and no cancellation fee.

Notice period: Cancellations take effect at the end of the month following the month in which the cancellation request is received. For example, if you cancel on 15 June, your subscription ends on 31 July and you will be invoiced for July.

To cancel, use the contact form at dpoagent.dk/contact and select Cancellation of subscription as the subject. You will receive a written confirmation within one business day.

Upon cancellation, all user access is revoked immediately at the end of the notice period.

Right of withdrawal

If you are subscribing as a consumer (private individual, not a business), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven). The withdrawal period begins on the date your subscription is activated.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at contact@dpoagent.dk within 14 days of activation. If you have already used the service during the withdrawal period, we reserve the right to charge a proportional fee for the period of use.

Business customers (CVR-registered entities) do not have a right of withdrawal under consumer law, but are subject to the cancellation policy above.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add or change users after signing up?
Yes — you can add, remove, or change users at any time by contacting us at contact@dpoagent.dk. Changes take effect within one business day. The subscription covers up to 5 users at no extra cost.
What Microsoft account do users need?
Users need a work or school Microsoft 365 account — the account they use to log in to Outlook, Teams, or other Microsoft services at work. Personal Microsoft accounts (Hotmail, Outlook.com) are not supported.
Is there a free trial?
We do not currently offer a self-service free trial, but we are happy to arrange a live demo. Contact us at contact@dpoagent.dk or use the contact form.
How is the knowledge base updated?
The knowledge base is updated continuously as new guidelines, decisions, and legislation are published. All subscribers always have access to the latest version — there are no update fees.
Is a Data Processing Agreement available?
Yes — our full DPA is available at dpoagent.dk/dpa. By placing an order you accept the terms of the DPA.
What languages does DPO Agent support?
DPO Agent responds in the same language you write in — Danish, English, German, French, and Spanish are all supported.
